This year is rich in many new products being introduced by Colway. Only this summer the company has launched 4 new products and a new beauty set so watch this space as I’ll do my best to keep you posted about those newbies.
Today I wanted to introduce you to a brand new dietary supplement: ORACol
ORACol is a natural dietary supplement dry extracts of fruit, vegetable and herbs which have the highest ORAC index (oxygen radical absorbance capacity – is a method of measuring antioxidant capacities in biological samples in vitro. READ MORE on Wiki).
The first two: cloves and sumac are not allowed to be added to any dietary supplements. However all of the other foods listed above are part of ORACol dietary supplement and they are raw extracts of the highest quality (see list of ingredients at the bottom of this article).
Colway also took care of supporting the body with ingredients that activate our natural antioxidant mechanism. Such a product is the first COMPLEX antioxidant supplement, giving the human body so much support in the fight against free radicals.
Free radicals and antioxidants (also called antioxidants or antioxidants) are constantly circulating in our body. If there is balance between them, we feel good. Excess free radicals not only harm our beauty but cause a number of diseases. Antioxidants are as vital to our lives as essential vitamins, minerals or amino acids that regulate the processes of collagenogenesis.
ORACol includes glutathione and l-cysteine.
Glutathione is often called “the mother of all antioxidants”. It is present in every single cell in our organism and has many health benefits. To mention but a few it significantly reduces stress, decreases fatigue, improves mood and is a good immune system booster. It has been used to treat many different diseases, about which you can read in more detail HERE. It is vital for our organism to maintain a proper level of glutathione in our body cells. You can do that by eating food rich in this peptide, however you should know that cooking reduces its content in vegetables by 30-60%, and canned products don’t contain glutathione at all.
Food rich in glutathione:
- raw eggs, raw milk
- red meat
- beef liver
- unprocessed, undenatured whey protein
- high quality lean protein
- sulfur foods (cabbage, kale, radish, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, broccoli, watercress, greens…)
- folate foods (avocado, lentils, asparagus, garlic, squash, citrus fruit…)
L-cysteine is one of three precursors that your body needs in order to produce glutathione. The other two are Glycine and Glutamic Acid. Cysteine is being produced by your body mainly from methionine. Other precursors (building blocks) for cysteine are the minerals: selenium and folate and the B vitamins: B1, B2, B6, B12. So if you are deficient in any of those your organism is not able to produce l-cysteine and glutathione.
Food rich in l-cysteine:
- raw eggs, raw milk
- meet (beef, lamb, chicken, turkey, pork)
- fish and shellfish
- soya foods
- seeds and nuts
- oats and oat bran
- beans, lentils

Apart from that, this product contains only anti-caking agent (magnesium salts of fatty acids), and the capsules are made of is fish gelatin.
